Qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix will commence at 6 pm local time (3 pm GMT) on Saturday, March 4th, 2023.

Circuit Information

The qualifying session will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit, with the following local times:

• 18:00 Local Time
• 15:00 GMT
• 16:00 CET

Qualifying Format

The qualifying session will follow the standard three-part knockout format, consisting of Q1, Q2, and Q3.

1. Q1: 18 minutes, with the slowest five drivers eliminated.
2. Q2: 15 minutes, with the slowest five drivers eliminated.
3. Q3: 12 minutes, to determine the top 10 starting positions for the race.
